In regards to hydroponics. The initial setup cost can be high. But indoor grows can get expensive. You have to remember, lighting, heating, humidifiers, water pumps piping trays, emiter lines. And Depending on style of setup, glass, compost, live fish. I can build a setup where the fertilizer is organic from tilapia grown in the water reservior. The tilapia feed of the alge from the plan waste. I can start with two plants and clone from there but there is a lot to be said for a well run greenhouse and the amount of time that goes into it. I could probably grow 20-30 plants in a 1000 sqft area. It would be better to grow in a true greenhouse though.
