Ask MD's re: citicholine, glycerophosphorylcholine, hyperbaric oxygen, in addition to usual anticoagulation/antiplatelet drugs, etc... Must be administered quickly to limit brain damage!!! Make sure they check homocysteine levels (easy to lower with supplementation). I guess stem cells are out of the question in this country. Sorry you and your daughter have to go through this ordeal. We took care of my grandmother for years post stroke. Everyone needs to keep an eye on homocysteine levels as it increases risk of stroke and heart attack. Must be included in routine blood tests but is not. Genetic predisposition can be dealt with nutritionally. Sorry for rambling - just scratched the surface...could go on for days.
