Texas Instruments (TXN: news, chart, profile), the big chipmaker, is one of six stocks Barron's warns about as suppliers of Apple iPod components. Apple (AAPL: news, chart, profile) has a runaway sales hit with its music player, but Barron's says that "gold fever" could cool after it has boosted shares of the component suppliers and assemblers: TI, Hitachi (HIT: news, chart, profile), Synaptics (SYNA: news, chart, profile), SigmaTel (SGTL: news, chart, profile), PortalPlayer (PLAY: news, chart, profile) and Audible (ADBL: news, chart, profile).
