Thanks for posting and for the encouragement. Before I posted anything, I looked at the previous posts to get a feel for the general attitude. That wasn't hard since there was so little activity. Given that I, more or less, put this company on hold myself when I was much closer to the people involved, it's not surprising that you feel the way you do. I haven't bought any of the AMCI stock for more than a few years now and have simply been holding since then.
You know timing is everything. I'm not sure how much longer they will take before either filing reports or offering real information about their business and financial status, but I think it is getting closer to that time. I'm basing this on my recent conversation with the company.
My opinion is that the company has not been too concerned about the stock price because so much (well over half) of all the OS is tied up by insiders and the private funders. However, when they change that attitude, our (retail shareholders) situation could change dramatically as well.
One of the first thing I asked about was the AS and OS numbers. I was told that no new shares had been authorized or issued in some time (years). I think this could be a real sleeper as the company has such a small OS for a penny stock. I didn't get an exact number but that it was under 60 million shares with only 100 million authorized. If they do anything at all to actively promote the company's stock value it could do very well. The question is (and to me has always been) “When?”
