You're thoughts are becoming more coherent. Without knowing a damn thing about the intricacies of the banking system, I'd like to apply some simple logic.............
I don't believe those who claim a disaster would have resulted if the banks had failed or more accurately....there would have been no difference from what we see today because.............At any given point, a bank has x amount of money and asstes. Whether they stay in business or fail or whether the gov bails them out or takes them over, what can possibly be different?
I believe that throughout history...and, especially in more current (20th century) history, what we can loosely call the interconnected banking system of power brokers which exists within the industrialized world has caused much of the world's distress and have significantly impacted the global economy and profited by conflict and war.
Agreed. Anyone who reads should be able to come to that conclusion. The only point of disagreement I have with you is to blame it all on progressives and liberals. That's nonsense on its face and a leftover of hanging around with too many brainless right wing rabble rousers, lol.
