keep in mind this is about shares being unshortable for the duration of a run. we've all seen MMs lean on stocks to force them into a channel. if the majority of the shares are out of reach, they won't have as much control over the downward slopes in upward channels.
this should translate into much higher highs and evenhigher lows -- all the way up. instead of a rising wedge, we could see a much more linear move. jmho.
