and, socialized medicine is great when you have a sniffle or the flu.....but, get seriously sick.....you wait for approval for the necessary tests....and, wait again for approval for treatment....

Hey please tell me how giving the private sector additional business equals socialism .. a clue here - IF it was socialism .. the government would have implemented an add on to medicare or a public option . .. instead as I told you before AMERICAN Capitalism in the country means .. government 'assistance' to the private sector.. and that is what the hcr will be doing .. more customers ... more shared risk.. LESS folks in the ER presenting for 'sniffles' & for major medical events ... let's give it a chance .. remember NOTHING is permanent if it doesn't pan out the way they think it will .....there will adjustments .. just like there always is ..

I can't believe you posted that .. ;) seriously .. That is what happens now .. The insurance company ..makes you 'wait for approval AND again' WAIT for approval for treatment' It's certainly not the government making patients wait for approval .. it's your insurance company .. .

We are not talking about the rich here .. they have the best insurance, rightly so, and they go anywhere anytime anyplace ..that has always be so .. ALWAYS .. WE are talking about the rest of the population . .. which is quite a bit larger than the upper income folks.
