I am referring to a stock that went from .002 to .0265 in a week or so following a similar trading and shorting pattern as seen here. However, ETLS has been shorted for much longer and it has a lot of long-term holders who have been waiting to see a squeeze.
VC*Y's Short Squeeze:
The action on VCT* started when it was at .0008 on 02/11. Here's a table to give you a glimpse of trading.
Date Open High Low Close Volume Short Volume Short %
02/22 .0100 .0260 .0080 .0185 40,492,140 14,048,780 35
02/19 .0030 .0077 .0026 .0077 42,782,983 13,783,820 32
02/18 .0021 .0032 .0020 .0030 19,870,290 13,970,372 70
02/17 .0021 .0021 .0015 .0020 8,115,195 4,107,580 51
02/16 .0023 .0025 .0016 .0021 8,268,791 5,122,858 62
02/12 .0039 .0039 .0013 .0025 34,629,607 16,315,051 47
02/11 .0008 .0028 .0008 .0020 87,584,571 43,409,397 50
It can be broken down into these phases:
1. Really high volume but dis-proportionate price action during the first couple of days. Almost all the float was traded but because of heavy shorting by MMs, price did not reflect it.
2. Sideways movement for the next couple of days but no major selling by investors. Hence MMs did not get the shares they needed to cover.
3. Volume came back in and coincided with MMs needing to cover the shorts. That made it even worse for them and they had to let it run.
So in merely 7 trading days, it was atleast a 13 bagger for those who got in when it was trading sideways (.002ish). And almost a month and a half later, it is still trading around .012, a 6-bagger from .002.
Take a look at the chart and see the action:

Now let us take a look at ETLS:
Date Open High Low Close Volume Short Volume Short %
04/07 .0045 .0050 .0025 .0031 195,656,825 85,173,530 44
04/06 .0019 .0038 .0017 .0038 74,477,428 25,345,080 34
04/05 .0016 .0019 .0016 .0019 10,718,199 6,124,134 57
04/01 .0014 .0017 .0013 .0015 12,089,493 3,397,000 28
03/31 .0012 .0013 .0011 .0013 3,410,000 2,951,000 87
If you compare it with VCT*, you will notice that Phase 1 seems to be over. MMs have a lot of shorts to contend with, 110M+ from the last couple of trading days. They will have to cover those shorts. We must be patient for the phases to come. If we trade sideways, good if we go up, even better, the key is not to give away our shares for cheap. We are only a few days away at best!
Here's a 2-month chart. Notice the accumulation here and trust me, it has been shorted so much and for so long. Look at how little red you see in those bars!

Do some DD. Whether you came here because of PSC or iHub's most active, look at what you have got here. You will realize that at these levels, ETLS is a gift. This is a short squeeze play. If we get news or the chart develops, even better. But we should see pennies even without any kind of news. Although I am hoping M. Uram is watching this action and gives us something to make it really excruciating for the MMs :)
