LOL!

I remember people complaining left and right when I made Quote/Chart/Subject the default search method. I rationalized making it the default because it'd direct people to the Quotes page, where the higher-paying ads are.

But with the unpleasant surprise of a large bill for overages on quotes, I decided to take steps here and there to reduce quotes usage.

And I might afterall take someone up on their suggestion that about once a month I toggle off everyone's "show quotes" on all boards and let them turn them back on if they really want them. Of let them hit the provided link for detailed quotes whenever they want to see them.
