Sure....it's much more complicated than that

the poor are poor because everything has been taken and stolen from them by the rich....

but in my mind, the case could be made. Take minimum wage instead of a living wage (which we had when I got married in '69)........it's a subsidy to big business with the taxpayer picking up the diff in terms of services, food stamps, etc.
