the China names are dead money now. They are just not shareholder friendly.
If you put all your faith in the charts then you'll gravitate toward energy names now.
I am seeing a few bearish signals. Some internal readings are a bit weak (for example, there are a lot fewer 20 day-new highs among large cap names then two weeks ago). Thus, the rally is getting narrower.
Financials look good as well. Today you've got AIG, GE, XLF up premarket.
Daytrading small caps is really almost impossible. Swing trading is a bit easier but you have to leave the position on overnight. There's just not enough volume in most names to get in and out easily.
