I agree. For those that havent seen the bid and ask and depth of stock light up like a christmas tree...and hold a real position in a stock...you havent been to the battlefield...

It also is VIRTUALLY impossible to catch the top or the bottom of ANY stock price. A goal within 5 or 10% of top or bottom is a realistic value. That is why I buy and sell in thirds. I try to catch the right shoulder of a reverse H and S play...ideal position. The fugly head bottom requires titanium cajones, I tell ya.

I have witnessed it many times over the years.

A prime example was IVN, Ivanhoe. The infamous Robert Friedland and his magical touch with mineral stocks around the world. THe whipsaw and daily moves by the dollars was incredible...
