Background on another EGMI victim, if it helps

Justhesolfacts, I feel your pain.

In case it helps any, I'm a former Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley broker and have an MBA in finance. I was in the business about 12 years before burnout hit, and I've been investing in stocks, options, and futures for about 25 years. I've made some good quick licks in the past, and took some bruises. Very rarely however, have I been a victim of outright stock fraud.

I now am convinced I've been scammed by EGMI. I did DD, but obviously did not dig deep enough, but I didn't want to spend the significant time it would have taken to really turn over all the rocks needed to find the clues. My $25K loss in this stinkpile can be handled fairly easily thank goodness, but I can't say I'm happy about it at all.

I was scammed by Bernie Ebbers and Worldcom too years ago, but ironically little tiny EGMI has stuck me with higher losses than big bad Bernie did. Bernie is sitting inside a prison cell right now for the rest of his life. I wish the same on whoever stole my money and your money in EGMI. Unfortunately in this world, people get mugged every day by thugs.

One final note, I wish people on this board would give up on saying the $12 million in cash hasn't been stolen (if it ever existed to begin with). If it hasn't been stolen, why is an advisor being (allegedly- still no official confirmation of this point either) retained to raise working capital? I'll advise EGMI on this point for free right now-- if you need working capital, just go get your $12 million in cash out of the bank this afternoon, which you still amazingly say is there. But don't try to feed me garbage and tell me you lost the bank account number or don't remember where your bank is, or some other pie in the sky story. I want to hear no more EGMI garbage spew forth. EGMI insiders, just remember to show the SEC and the FBI the $12 million cash when they come with the handcuffs for your perp walk, and you'll be OK. Otherwise, I see someone donning a prison suit in the future.
