An ADHD partnership in the next 18-24 months trumps royalties in six or seven years so far as impact on Cortex's valuation is concerned.
I disagree. First of all, an ADHD partnership in 18-24 months is, by and far, a joke. That is based on everything we have witnessed in the past. With the same leadership, we are destined to remain on the same slow course to achieve...most everything. Don't forget that we will need a financing anyway to get to the ADHD PhIIa finish line (and if we can complete the trial without further financing by some miracle, it will be said that a financing will be needed for leverage in negotiations, blah, blah, blah). Secondly, it is not the actual royalties that would drive Corx valuation, but the potential royalties as RD gets each step closer to commercialization. It is not the money that brings investors (especially if mngmt has already shown they can't manage/leverage it well), it is the unknown/limitless benefit of royalties should their most advanced candidate continue to advance.
With that said, you done good helping the mngmt team finally bring something of value to shareholders. Lets hope for a trifecta of modestly positive announcements...they really, really need it. We really, really need it.
