I disagree. There is a risk reward ratio one has to consider.
If one can get a slap on the wrist with out being a rat one has nothing to worry about from the ones they are ratting on.
I know for some out there, not saying you as I don't know you, but for some, they think being a rat has no consequences.
For the most part these days it doesn't.

But that can't be said in all situations so if one has doubts they might wait to see what they can work out with out being a rat.

Some are old school and just go do their time like a man.
Bill is probably to young to understand what that means.
Most reading this board have no clue about old school do your time.

Could be what he is waiting to see if he can make a deal on a fine with jail time with time suspended or bracelet time instead and be done I don't know.

I would think with a family he would want to get this behind him and move on thus my post about his situation.
