Your analysis maybe correct, but often, in such acquisition a premium to the recent (pre acquisition discussions) trading range is paid, if you assume $17.5 to $18.5 was the last box, then the market might have been right bidding it up to $20 last week. That is a price I would consider fair. There is also a question if the big owners have to sell, maybe they want to continue grow the business independently, if the premium they get is not considered "fair". Because the decision will probably not come till after the main acquisition is completed next year (unless they make a very generous offer at once), NXTP could trade violently in the $17 to $20 range for a good six months here.
