I don't see inflation per se as a major threat.

While I agree with many of your ideas, I'm far more of an inflation hawk than you. Among the reasons that I have this perspective are:

1. The massive increase in the money supply. This is the sine qua non for inflation and while other "effects" are included in these graphs, they are instructive.

2. True inflation is "across the board" and not just some isolated spike in a sector or two. As pointed out on this board

we seem to be seeing the beginning of this general inflation.

3. Perhaps the single best predictor of inflation is ECRI's FIG (Future Inflation Gage). Since it is released in the first week of the month, the last available data is from July.
