My own take is the Fed has at most 6 months before inflation will "force their hand". If economic growth hasn't been ignited by then, they will face the unhappy choice of very serious inflation or a deep recession. And the real possibility of some combination of both. In fact (IMO) its already too late to avoid some inflation. The only question now is how much.
