There is no reason for a forum for opinions if it isnt to discuss them, pro or con. My initial posts/opinions were not positive and they were generally "attacked" , now the pendulum has swung the other direction and overly optimistic opinions are questioned.

I think the "divorce" statement was based on Peter's last PR wherein the Verde with the magic motor was delayed to 2012 because "The Verde Hybrid will remain in the development stage until all relative durability Government fuel efficiency testing and validations are provided to Revenge". Some viewed this delay for "government" validations to be a split between Doug and Peter, some wondered why Peter didnt have that information before teaming up with Doug, and some wondered if Peter was now questioning the validity of whatever info he had before deciding to team up with Doug. All of which suggest they might at least be "estranged", which could also be an outgrowth of Peter's embarassment that Doug failed to deliver a magic motor to support the auto show, which spoiled the important "first showing" by causing it to be incomplete. there is also Peter's history showing that he seems to "partner" for a year with a "name" producer then drop them suddenly, like the Pratt-Miller Motor and the "Roush" motors getting dropped for crate motors.

The end of the year is also in question inasmuch Peter acknowledged in his PR that he needs assistance to move forward and it could only come from federal or angel funds, then goes on to muddy the waters and claim production will start late in the year. the definition of "production start" is now in question as some thought it meant buying hardware and building cars while his remaining available funding from the $750k in two loans that were used to build the shell and show it are down to roughly enough to build maybe 3 cars at most.

we shall indeed see in time, but its human nature to look at available information to see the future is not promising and the odds of a brainless billionaire or federal funding appearing are infinitesimal.
