question.. may be a stupid question..

If I am a big investor (I hope I am but I am not.. LOL) I want to get as much return as possible on my investments. It doesn't make any sense (for me atleast) that the big investors to convert to stock at 1 cent and turn-around and sell at 1.5 cents even after they know that they can make substantial returns if they are patient for few months.
