Food for thought, Ont.....your posting review (#79256) from the PDAC was great and informative.....
The timeline of the PDAC show is March 7-10 .
March 11, SRSR pr'd that they found the extension of the zone from 2.8km to 13.9 km..........like almost 5X larger ! That is excellent and exciting news !
Now, is there a double edge sword here ?
Great news is that SRSR's niobium deposits stand a very good chance at becoming much larger, however, wouldn't the need to do more drilling become a necessity to validate the added zonage 11.1 km ?
The previous NI report was for 9 holes. They are adding another 3-4 holes to make it 12-13 holes.....
Your post with conversation with Scott, he said that there are 40 holes planned for the zone.
So, basic question is, (1) when are they going to drill the added holes from Hole #12 to hole # 40 ?
(2) Does the added holes to the number 40, take into consideration the added 11.1 km that they found to be extended ? My math says for the original 2.8 km, they did 12 holes, so therefore for 13.9 kn, they would need around 60 holes by the same 50 meter distances...?
(3) And, million dollar question, is that how does the need for all these added holes that need to be drilled, affect the timeline for the NI report, or should I say updated NI report .
How can they do a JV feasability study with only 20% of the property ( 2.8km of the 13.9 km ) properly drilled with assayed core samples to show validation to their future partner for the $25 Million needed......maybe the 20% is enough to form a partnership ?
This is interesting in that the added zonage of potential niobum deposits is wonderful on one hand, but, may cause some delay in the original 2010 timeline plans of Sarissa.
It would be good if Scott's next PR would address some indication on how the added zonage may or may not affect the SRSR plans for the added holes needed to be drilled, NI reporting and JV partnership for 2010.......delayed or not delayed ?
My last post was only addressing the 'any day now' factor for the JV report....IMO, the added holes needed to be drilled, then assayed, then added to the NI report need to be completed before SRSR ventures and signs any JV agreement......so, IMO, any day now is unrealistic.
You, and, several of the longs know darn well that for the last 2 years+, any attempt at timelines for Sarissa have all been vastly underrated, and, SRSR's growth has taken much longer than anyone anticipated.....
So, the 'any day now' holds no water or value, except for novice posters with no idea of the history and tendencies for SRSR.
I believe SRSR will get to the 'promised land' sooner or later, and pretty much believe the bottom seems to be at .035 .....unless there is a PR'd delay stating that they will need to drill the extra holes ( to the #40 ), and, therefore a delay in announcing the JV partnership .
Logic dictates however, that more than likely, Scott already knew about the added zonage to 13.9 km when he spoke to you at the PDAC, so, if he still mentioned the JV partnership for 2010, then, one would 'assume' that Sarissa's timeline for 2010 is still intact .

Your thoughts ?
I owe to smoking (cigars), more or less,
Through life the whole of my success;
With my cigar I'm sage and wise -
Without, I'm dull as cloudy skies !
Light up a stogie today !!
