I see five countries, but I don't see any limitation to five turbines. I assume that they would have to buy a whole lot more than five turbines to do what they are expecting to do.
There are parts of many countries that don't even HAVE a grid.
I also think that the overseas market has huge potential, but I think they can hit their half a billion per year in 5 years with just the domestic market.
If we blue sky some numbers:
According to what they said at the 3/20 demo, they are selling the 1 kW for $12,500 installed and the 3.5 kW for $25,000 installed, BEFORE you deduct the government subsidies. (Don't remember the in-between one.) If you take an average of $15,000 per home, you are talking fewer than 35,000 homes to hit your $500 million.
For a 15 kW without installation, maybe they can get $50,000. Put 1,000 of the 15 kW in a wind farm, or between and below the big ones in existing wind farms, and you've got $50 million per wind farm for a 15 megawatt wind farm. Just 10 wind farms per year and there is your $500 million with no other sales.
Now how about all the wind-swept commercial rooftops out there?
How about all the government and military needs?
Think of airports alone -- I see that Tamer already got the FAA approval to put it at the Perry-Warsaw airport. Each airport could be a wind farm after they take care of their own needs.
Better buy some more stock!
