OVTI on Monday said it had begun various internal-control policies and procedures which it believes will prevent any repeat of a recent error in financial statements in future.
The company, which designs image sensors used in digital cameras, said it is cooperating with an informal inquiry by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission after discovering revenue recognition errors which it reported in June.
