Prospector: There was certainly no "diatribe". Faith4more's only concern was that people don't lose money on this. Obviously, you disagreee and that's certainly your right. But, when someone takes the time and makes the effort to personally attend a restricted meeting in order to help other investors, I think you are out of line by making insinuations that he was doing it for wrong motives. He owned the stock and wanted to do as much dd as possible before buying more (which was his intention before meeting Pino).
Faith's opinion was partially based on the answers he received (or waffles) to several relevant questions. One of the responses (to the buy-back of shares) was that this isn't going to happen unless they get 10 million in financing (I believe the pr said they were already buying back shares: "Mellon Research, Mesa, Arizona, on December 3, 2004 will begin an aggressive stock buy back over the course of three weeks time of approximately 450,000,000 shares"). They don't have that financing. Mario Pinto also made the announcement that their share price is up hugely, but he didn't know why. It was at that point that Faith pointed out it was because of the pr's released (DUH!!!). The company they have "value" in hasn't traded since October and apparently only trades a couple of times a year, so that price seems "fixed."
My understanding was that this board was not just one that blindly follows a leader, but does more serious research and examines the pros AND cons about a stock.
p.s. Faith4more is a church pastor and his interest in investing has to do with raising money for the work of God he is involved with. I trust him completely and am only responding because he does not deserve to have his reputation impugned simply because you don't like what he says.
