Nothing could be worse than to have hundreds or thousands of customers rushing to sign up, and then find out you weren't prepared for that kind of volume.

Wasn't that the sole reason for the delay? The additional hardware that the DC installed should have made this a mute issue. Or, don't you believe that either?
