To what degree was it self-fulfilling?
I'm not sure Garren has that much of a following to make much of a difference, and he has made many such reiterations on COR before and it has done nothing for the stock price in those instances.
COR has now broken through its 50-day and 200-day moving averages. The company has virtually no institutional interest, just a dedicated band of retail investors. Some might see this as a negative, but I don't at this point. I think any kind of institutional interest will send the stock price soaring. A BP deal based on some Phase II results for CX717 would be the catalyst for such institutional interest, in my opinion. There is no question that 2005 is a make-or-break year for COR.
