I didn't have a tester the first year I used the wire around my garden....for whatever reason, I didn't think it was working so I offered a neighbour's kid $10.00 if he'd touch it. He refused.

So I gritted my teeth and touched it myself...sure enuff, it wasn't working. You shoulda seen the disappointed expression on the kid's face. LOL
