My younger brother just dumped his entire position at the low of the day. After a 2 hr. phone conversation with him last night trying to anticipate what we may encounter in the market trading today, he had agreed to sit on it and take out his initial investment if it hit 75 cents. I hope the next two days in the market don't make him look like the smart one in the situation! I understand his reasoning after loosing about 75% of his portfolio on a very similar run/dive in a different penny stock about a year and a half ago.
Im hearing through the woodwork that at the time of a settlement people with shares that were purchased with unsettled funds may not be awarded anything for their shares? Does anyone have any further information regarding this? I would hate to see him miss the end game on this one, especially because hes gotta pay for the other half of the house that we are going to buy in hawaii when this is all over!
