I know you welcome questions comments and criticisms of all stripes. I found this guy's posts had a pattern of sarcasm and sniping that I found irritating. Maybe he wasn't aware of it. Now he is. If he's sincere about learning, that's great. We are all here for that. I don't want to see another Mark Johnson situation develop here. Your defense of him in my opinion ended up being detrimental to the old thread on SI and when Johnson got voted off the thread it was a big improvement. Granted, many of us had MJ on ignore, but every time a new person came on the thread and got outraged by Johnson's absurdly inflammatroy remarks, a whole new round of noise occurred, much to Johnson's delight, no doubt.

The thread has been very enjoyable of late. We have had a bigger diversity of posts than ever before and it strikes me there is a new maturity in everyone as we leave behind an SI environment where insanity was allowed to run amuck by an uncaring management. Thank heavens Matt and Bob care about keeping this site a friendly and helpful place for all.
