I saw on SSB research that MER is buying into companies like PMTC EPNY and PAX. So I did keyword search on Merrill Lynch and SC 13G at www.sec.gov and came up with 145 hits in 2002. I like the idea of buying sub $5 companies with no debt on books like PMTC and EPNY
