Reg, first the current financers would not be losing anything on the collateral side by having this person step in, if the story is true. In addition, they know by now that they do not get paid in full, unless CPRK gets to full production, so to try to stop this would not be a very wise mover.

Also, keep in mind that anyone willing to collateralize that much of a loan by putting up their own assets is most likely smart enough to account for a rogue financer that may try to get their hands on the money he has earmarked to get the company to full production. Of course, there may even be some forebearanc money in it for the current lenders just to keep them, well not happy, but less angry for now. In the end though, I am quite sure that the funds would be going into an account that would be safe, even if someone did get a judgment against CPRK.

So, let's keep out fingers crossed that there is some validity to this rumor.
