Today we represent 25% of the world's GDP so our suffering is and has always been spread to other nations as well. However, India and China are countries that are investing in themselves and their populations are becoming more educated. Unless we set some goals in education like the space program did in the 60's we will lag farther and farther behind in education. Plus we really do need to get some manufacturing over here again.

NAFTA and free trade have only helped the stockholders and not the security of our country.
