I don't care (R) or (D) - just do what works

HGE, I feel the same way, and I'm not just bringing up the (R)'s just to score points in some Internet blog. I'm trying to have a conversation with you, and I feel it's just being honest to set the record straight on some issues that are happening in the news today.

I might find tomorrow that the Republicans get their act together and propose something very beneficial for America, in which case I am totally on board. I'm not an ideologue where I have to find fault in everything an (R) does. However, I have seen their behavior over the past year or so since Obama took office, and I feel that I have to object to it, and point out the reasons why.

And by the way, I've already observed that we want the same thing, and I can absolutely agree with the same things you are against, such as Big Business and Big Government. Neither is all that good, honestly. However, when you're in a hole and need to dig your way out, you need a big shovel. Right now, I see the Obama administration trying to give us a shovel, while the Republicans are happy to give a shovel to their Wall Street buddies, who are then using it to shovel dirt on top of us.

Sorry if that's a bad metaphor, but it's how I feel, and if you want to talk about it, I can explain why I feel that way, and we can discuss it.
