I am surprised at how much empathy you are displaying for Matt.

I'm not.

Many of us have known Matt since he was very young. I am old enough to be his mother and there were times when I yelled at him as if I were his mother.

Yes, I'm disappointed but yet I feel very sorry for him that he gave into temptation.
