There's a HUGE difference between shorting and naked shorting.... Shorting is legal..... Selling airshares for months on end, never covering their short position by passing it from MM to MM to MM is illegal. But our SEC and elected officials chose to do nothing but let the criminals continue their illegal practices. Once in awhile they pay a fine (slap on the hands) and drive on with the same practices.....
