KALAMA, Wash., Feb 18, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Tytan Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TYTN) subsidiary, Tytan International, Inc., a manufacturer and importer of small to medium farm tractors and implements, today announced that it has purchased a patent for a special baked coating that seals the pores in the steel on a muffler and traps the heat in the exhaust. This causes the muffler to reach a much higher temperature, thus burning more of the harmful emissions before they leave the exhaust. This application will be used in the diesel engines of tractors handled by Tytan. The Company's engines already meet the EPA requirements in both the United States and Canada, and they burn about 30% to 40% less fuel than many of their competitors.
