Edit:For myself i have an absolute moratorium on discussing anything regards 2008 elections as with the snakepits and minefields that lie between now and November 2008 makes any projections regards to 2008 election a debatee inside a box removed from reality,imho
I and others i have much respect for see StockMarket lows of 2002 reached again sometime in 2006.
This country is NOT prepared for a return to those levels.
It will cause waves across the land far far more extreme than in 2002.
History is entering a timeframe that in my mind causes me to smile and give a sigh when people discuss the elections in 2008.
I personally think discussion of elections in 2008 is an act of deep complacency:)
People discussing 2008 elections i give a $VIX reading of 9!:)
BTW, in 1966 i gave a dark and bitter pronouncement to various people, and that was Nixon would be elected President of the U.S. in 1968.
People laughed, i said laugh now you will cry later.
I can say right now elections in 2008 even happening is now iffy.
