Consumer shares are down, with Wal-Mart Stores (WMT:...) falling despite posting better-than-expected earnings results. The retail giant's same-store sales fell 1.6 percent in the fourth quarter, which has dispappointed investors. Las Vegas Sands (LVS:...) too is slumping even though the casino group reported earnings results in line with analysts' expectations, on the back of strong gambling demand in China that offset a slump in U.S. markets. http://www.midnighttrader.com
