Mirrors'll save you Big Guy...

I rely on them... gotta know where you are relative to the other cars and stationary objects... saved my sorry butt many times... most recent incident last week's homeward bound trip on 80 when a jackass in a mini-vehicle cut me off... gut reflex was to go into the left lane but knew I had two SUVs on the verge of passing me... had to hit the brake and swerve to the left without leaving the lane... close one.

Ahhh forgot this tale...

divine justice today in the hills of nj...

On 80 just past Allamuchy... a small black car with out of state plates came up behind and passed me so fast that I barely caught it in the rear view mirror before it was a dot in the distance (I was doing 70-75 at the time)... moving so fast I couldn't see what state it was from... white background red letters on the plate...

I knew there were 5 speed trap hiding places ahead of this cat before my exit...

As I approached the egress, I noticed traffic hitting the brakes... I slowed down... sure enough the flashing blue and red lights of a state trooper who had stopped the hot shot...
