I wonder if the East has just given Kuchma all the ammo he needs to use military means to restore order? Calling the vote fraud ( from either side ) is one thing. Seceding is another thing altogether. If they do secede I think it is very likely that they will take the chance to make sure Moscow regains control of the Crimea and Odessa and all the land on the sea. Are the EU and the U.S. going to tell Kuchma that he cannot military force to deal with a part of the country succeeding? I don`t see the west winning this one without having to commit to military intervention. However that may be just what Bush wants. It would be the perfect excuse to bring back the draft which without we will get our buts kicked out of Iraq.

I wonder what China will do if the west threatens ro send in troops.
