I 100% disagree. A very good example is the EU. You look at their history and was nothing but wars and hatred amongst neighbors. Look at them now. And that's just a glimpse as their economic unity has not been perfected yet. But it will. And once the whole world unites into a world federation, priorities will also change from spending time hating your neighbor, or to get more "stuff" than he has, into spending time bettering ourselves.
