Huh??? "Eventual" excuse??? It's one planet one people one human kind. We should have had a single currency and single government (a world federation) for the whole planet from the very beginning. And when that happens, cutting the freaking defense budget down to ZERO would solve all other problems. Currently the U.S. defense budget dwarfs every other expenditure by a mile... make that trillions of miles...
