you give the Big O way too much credence, if you think he goes to work every day to buffalo his advisors and henchmen. On our behalf he has brought the lords and ladies of Big Bus into his office so he can circumvent them at every turn. Do you think those people are stupid? Wake Up! Do you actually believe Bill Clinton did not dance to the drum beat of Big Bus. ? He is the one who advanced the "free trade" tilted pinball machine most of all. I appreciate this opportunity to vet my thinking against a backdrop of ideas different than mine but the blind faith is smothering.

The blind faith as you call it comes from the fact that Obama is proposing legislation that is contradictory to the picture you paint.

So I don't know what to say. You insist that in spite of Obama's publicly announced policy initiatives, that he's secretly in the back pocket of corporate America. How would I disprove that? I can't.

But what I can say is this: I've seen the legislation passed by the House on a number of important issues, and by the letter of the law, it is good legislation. If Obama were to work with the Senate to pass these, it would change the country for the better. So I stand in support for that legislation.

If Obama fails to get anything passed, then in hindsight my "faith" will have been unfounded. But what would I have done differently? What do you do? I don't see any value in criticizing someone's sincerity when they say they want to change something that I believe in. I say, "Show me the results," and I think most others feel the same way. Obama needs to show results, but it doesn't make me support his proposed initiatives any less. I just want him to hold Congress responsible (both Democrats and Republicans), and make sure that the legislative process isn't deadlocked due to partisanism.

What's your idea to spur change in Washington, other than to criticize Obama? Would you vote for yet another change in administration? Do you think the Republicans could do a better job? Are you asking for a 3rd party? What...?
