Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I have successfully represented many national companies and won awards for my advertising on a national level.
I think we can agree to disagree on this recent execution. Eric has yet to hire a real ad team and it is obvious in his advertising to date, however, my point is that this last ad is fine for what it is. It is a 30 second spot which possibly could have been a fill in for a cancellation and it gets the points across.
Perhaps you should pitch Eric with some of your ideas and as a shareholder who is also in the business may be able to show him what he is missing in the execution. Until he has a "real" advertising strategy and is ready to spend some substantial bucks this is how it will play out. His first real step in this is with Hawthorne but this is more like an advertorial than an ad campaign but someday he will need to make a real solid investment(not that Hawthorne isn't)
in a consumer oriented campaign and revamp evertyhing but for now he is doing a good job imvho.
This is still in the infancy stages.
