I hear you Big Guy...

I have a wimpy 3.8 V-6... plenty of power for the weight of the car... can easily accelerate to 80+ on steep hills... gets me around the semis on 80...

I too am always looking for the escape route... has served me well... recent example... a week ago Friday, I had just pulled into the center lane coming down the hill at Allamuchy... some yahoo in a little pismire vehicle pulled into my lane... could tell he never looked... knew there were a couple of SUVs to my left starting to pass... had to hit the brake and veer to the left without leaving my lane or locking the wheels... the jerk got in front of me with mere inches to spare... when the worst was over... I hit the horn... didn't have time to do it during the "crisis"... a tenth of a mile later, he got back in the right lane so he could exit... what was the point of pulling in front of me... I sped up to get parallel with him... hit the horn and gave him the traditional Jersey salute... grrr... and glad that was all that happened.
