It is pretty amazing how much I agree with you on the markets and how much I disagree with you on the politics (g). Does not diminish my respect for your market insight.

Keeping politics out is such a good idea...

To feel better, my quick political 2 cents related to the market.

I feel myself back in the USSR 20 years ago. The f**g communism seemed to be rock solid. Even the most optimistic dissidents could not imagine that it could collapse so fast. American economic and political system seems so solid. The only super power standing. I think it is much less stable than it seems to be.

I know the analogy is weak, people are different and deep inside this country is healthy while Russia was badly sick. Still I think the coming mess may be much worse than expected. Much worse than Japan. Poor political and military decisions may precipitate economic collapse.
