jdaasoc- My experience has shown during every building or remodeling project a small investment in PVC can save much labor & material throughout the life of the building. The empty tubing can be used to easily draw any type of wire for any purpose at any time. It can be especially valuable getting material to upper floors or into finished basements with drywall ceilings. Who knows,, in our lifetime even cat5 may become a 2nd choice,, or even an extra phone line or outlet is required. These terminal pipes can move any flexible material between floors or into any room with minimal disruption of drywall &/or other materials. I've even used these highways to move water from a basement to a lg walkin closet turned into a full bath on a 2nd floor and to add elec to an attic.
