As for me, I am in sales and get paid based on production. THat being said, to get through college and while looking for a job after college, I worked in a couple of factories and also delivery work. No, I did not join the union and actually got pretty upset when they tried to force the company to force me to join as a part time worker. I had 30 hours/week there and 10-15 working for the delivery service.
