The company forecast a 35 percent drop in new orders in the current first quarter from the just-completed fourth quarter. The Santa Clara, California-based company also said it expected revenue to drop 20 percent to 23 percent from the fourth quarter, with earnings of 15 cents to 16 cents a share, both below analyst expectations
