i have to expensive cars and believe me i would NEVER wash them with a sponge, even some detergent cleaners are to harsh for the paint. I guess if you still have a pacer or an escort you might buy and use the car was sponge. :) Funny i never see the car wash sponge at any dealers or car shows.
IMO Will be th same thing for boats and such.
